A peaceful nature trail.
You know, when you say that, Dubai is probably the last place that comes to your mind. But guess what? It does have a peaceful nature trail which goes around Mushrif National Park – and it is absolutely beautiful as well (like just about everything else in Dubai, I guess).
I took the basic trail (8.3k) when I hiked in February 2024. It takes a minimum of 2 hours to complete. There are also some advanced routes that pop up off the main track for a total of 1.4k.
The trail has no toilets or cafeterias – basically it is a real hike. So you need to be prepared. They did have some places to sit though, and garbage cans as well (so you are not fully roughing it, I guess.)
The trail goes both ways as there are two entrances so you might find people coming from the opposite direction.

Gorgeous, isn’t it? You are surrounded by nature – something very unusual in Dubai.

You can sit on these too, I guess.
Mirdif (where the trail lies) always has airplanes going over. So they have a place to photograph them (in a frame!).
They have some other objects along the way as well.
Remember NOT to litter.

Make sure to take a sack pack with water, juice and snacks, and wear hiking boots or sports shoes.

Parking: There’s some free parking at the beginning of the trail.
Places to see nearby: Mushrif National Park, Quranic Park and Wadi Al-Amardi Farm are all in that part of town.
