The UAE has many beautiful and clean beaches – ironic given that it once a desert. Given that it had two coastlines though, there was bound to be some beaches.

Al-Heera Beach, in Sharjah, is a relatively new beach. It’s small but extremely beautiful.

The first time I went, I came across a sand castle!

They have a bicycle track as well a jogging track on this beach.

They have a couple of restaurants too. They are not right on the beach but a distance away which is good as the beach doesn’t feel clogged up.

They have a children’s play area as well.

The beach wasn’t too crowded either of the times that I visited but I went in the morning at both times. The second time, the parking had become paid – maybe to make sure that the place does not become crowded.

Overall, this was one of the most beautiful beaches in the country (at least in my view. It’s small and simple with some amenities.
